Responsibilities:
- Produce 5-7 stories weekly.
- Available for uploading to other media outlets and Metroland publication websites.
- Focus on telling stories that help share information with and from Indigenous communities.
Qualifications:
- Journalism degree, diploma or equivalent experience preferred.
- Experience working in a newsroom is preferred.
- Understanding of Canadian Libel Law and Canadian Press Style.
Requirements:
- Must be available to complete interviews and take photographs in the area.
- Must be prepared to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.
- Must have access to reliable transportation and a valid driver’s license.
