Reporter, Rapid Investigation

About the Role:

• Skilled, motivated reporters to join its rapid-response investigative unit.
• Adept at quickly jumping on a story, finding angles of pursuit and capable of producing quality work on deadline.
• Lead or contribute to longer investigations that stem from that rapid work.

Requirements:

• 5+ years of experience in journalism.
• Proven mastery of journalistic standards, including accuracy, fairness and other critical values.
• Understands sensitive subjects and source vetting.

Responsibilities:

• Balance short- and long-term projects.
• Utilize a creative approach to story ideation and formats.
• Generate executable story and project ideas.
