Proofreader (Contract, Remote)

INFUSE is looking for a detail-oriented Portuguese Proofreader to join our team. You must be proficient in basic and advanced grammar rules and understand how they are used within our style guides. Our ideal candidate is meticulous in reviewing copy, noting errors such as punctuation, spelling, and word usage, and knows how to check statements for accuracy or potential plagiarism. Responsibilities include proofreading materials for spelling, grammar, punctuation, syntax, usage, consistency, and brand voice in Portuguese, crosschecking references and data, reviewing output for consistency, and occasionally rewriting internal documents, and collaborating with team members. Qualifications include excellent Portuguese writing skills, 2+ proofreading experience, at least one year of writing experience, B2B writing experience (preferred), Bachelor's degree in journalism or Portuguese (preferred), great attention to detail, excellent communication skills, being highly organized, agile and proactive, solutions-oriented and able to work EST hours.
