Job Summary:
This position is a remote, California-based leadership role with required travel, focused on shaping healthcare through innovative medical informatics. The director will drive operational excellence, optimize EHR systems, and standardize clinical workflows to make a profound impact on patient care.
Responsibilities:
- Implement and direct Medical Informatics strategy, enhancing departmental efficiency and fostering innovation.
- Provide technical and financial leadership for a critical service line, partnering with clinical informatics, IT, and clinicians.
- Ensure seamless EHR deployment, optimization, and workflow standardization across the region.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree in a related technical/business area and a minimum of four years of leadership experience.
- Minimum four years of healthcare IT, informatics, or related service line experience.
- Preferred qualifications include a Master's Degree, Cerner or Epic experience, and a clinical background.
