Role Responsibilities:
- Evaluate new non-standard business submissions for appetite acceptability, proper pricing, and profitability.
- Rate, quote, and bind coverage on new and renewal business opportunities with producer partners.
- Maintain underwriting files and prepare reports and presentations as required.
- Act as liaison between departments including accounting, claims, and loss control.
Qualifications:
- Minimum 3-5+ years of Property & Casualty E&S underwriting experience.
- Strong knowledge of insurance rating, forms, and coverages.
- Ability to make timely decisions with appropriate information and consultation.
- Demonstrated strong written and oral communication skills.
