Job Description
Responsibilities:
- Design and develop data storage systems, processes, and enhancements for complex high-traffic internet sites and network-based (cloud) product systems.
- Lead the design of enterprise storage environments, including enterprise storage arrays, fiber channel switches, and Network Attached Storage (NAS) physical and virtual tape devices.
- Develop solutions and processes for reliable and stable data storage management, security, backup, restoration, archiving, and replication.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related field plus a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience; or Master's degree plus a minimum of 3 years of relevant experience.
- Working knowledge of creating and running scripts to automate repetitive processes.
- Practical knowledge of access, permissions, and security related to backup and/or storage systems.
