Engineering Manager - APIs & Performance (Full remote France)

About the Role:

• Dailymotion is undergoing a major technical transformation, migrating from monolithic to cloud-native microservices.
• The APIs & Performance team is a central pillar, composed of senior, autonomous profiles.
• The manager is expected to ask the right questions, structure without bureaucracy, and believe small daily actions make a difference at scale.

What You'll Do:

• Take responsibility for the team: 5 backend devs + 6 contractors, structuring backlog, grooming, scrum, prioritization.
• Push the team with AI: automate workflows, industrialize test generation, use AI for monitoring and anomaly detection.
• Bring a production mindset from migration experience, ensuring decisions consider impact of cutting features.

Qualifications:

• Strong technical background in backend, API, performance, and migration.
• 6+ years of management experience with a transformation dynamic.
• Strong AI culture with experience implementing an AI-first mindset in a team of senior devs.
• Fluent in French and English.
