Role Overview:
- The Medical Director, Care Management leads the care, case, and utilization management programs, setting clinical direction and owning program performance.
- This physician leader is a strong operator who owns outcomes, bending the cost curve by navigating members to high-quality care.
Key Responsibilities:
- Serve as clinical escalation point and set clinical standards, evidence-based pathways, and quality expectations.
- Own clinical KPIs, evaluate performance gaps, redesign workflows, and drive operational cadence.
- Manage leaders, conduct performance reviews, and attract diverse talent.
Qualifications:
- MD or DO with board certification in internal medicine, family medicine, or related specialty, plus 7+ years post-residency experience.
- 5+ years in healthcare leadership with direct oversight of clinical teams, including managing managers.
- Active unrestricted medical license and track record of delivering against operational KPIs in a performance-driven setting.
Compensation & Benefits:
- Base salary target range $240,720-$368,304 plus bonus, equity, and comprehensive benefits.
- Includes 12 weeks of 100% paid parental leave, 401(k), medical/vision/dental, and work-from-home reimbursement.
