The Safety and Compliance Specialist is responsible for data analysis and validation, including collecting, organizing, and analyzing safety and compliance data, validating SDS requests, and ensuring data accuracy. Procedure writing involves assisting in drafting, reviewing, and updating safety and compliance procedures. Document control includes maintaining and updating the departmentโs document control system and managing the distribution and retrieval of controlled documents. Compliance record keeping includes maintaining accurate records of compliance activities and monitoring compliance deadlines.The specialist will also assist in audit preparation, compile data for monthly reports, manage the departmentโs SharePoint site, develop presentations, and track key metrics. Additional tasks may be required to support the Safety and Compliance department.
