About the Role:
- You will set the technical direction of multiple pillars on the Ads Foundational Representations team.
- Lead cross-functional ML projects from high-level business gap analysis to engineering execution.
- Spend roughly 50% of time on technical leadership and mentorship, 50% on hands-on individual work.
Responsibilities:
- Provide technical leadership and mentorship to MLEs, establishing best practices and raising the quality bar.
- Develop and iterate on embedding models for advertising use cases, working with LLMs/VLMs.
- Build data processing and inference pipelines, and perform end-to-end experimentation.
Qualifications:
- 7+ years of hands-on experience with the full lifecycle of industry-level models.
- Demonstrated Staff-level technical leadership and excellent communication skills.
- Strong track record with content-rich NLP/CV problems at scale and familiarity with Ads or Recommender systems.
