Assistant Accountant

About the Opportunity:

• Join our Finance Division as an Assistant Accountant to make a real impact every day.
• You'll support day-to-day finance operations and month-end close, ensuring accurate financial data.
• This role is fully remote across the UK, with occasional meet-ups in Newcastle.

Responsibilities:

• Ensure month-end reconciliations are complete and accurate within OneStream.
• Manage fixed assets accounting, including capitalization, depreciation, and reconciliation.
• Assist with indirect tax returns (VAT/GST) and corporate card expense management.

Qualifications:

• A degree in Accounting or Finance, actively working towards professional qualification (AAT, ACCA, CIMA).
• 2-5 years' experience in accounting or finance role with strong understanding of core principles.
• Advanced Excel skills, experience with NetSuite or similar cloud-based systems.
