Senior Software Engineer - Platform Team

As Prismic scales, their commitment to technical excellence and innovation grows stronger. They're looking for a Senior Software Engineer to join the Platform team and lead company-level initiatives that define the reliability, scalability, and observability of their core APIs. The engineer will scale Prismic’s public Content API, which already serves millions of requests daily, with an eye on latency, availability, and cost. The engineer will also build customer-facing visibility into usage metrics (API calls, users, bandwidth), empowering teams to understand and optimise their plans. Further, they will implement API governance by introducing robust rate-limiting and clear separation of public and private APIs, ensuring fairness, stability, and security. The engineer will empower product teams with AI infrastructure by providing MCP-based creation workflow and seamless tooling communication, accelerating innovation and delivery.
