Job Objective:
- Review routine risks to determine acceptability and write profitable business accounts.
- Focus on financial performance of assigned book of business.
- Achieve profitable retention and growth.
Essential Functions:
- Determine acceptability, quality, pricing, and profitability.
- Complete thorough risk analysis using company guidelines and industry rules.
- Underwrite routine risks for small business renewals and new business.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree preferred; insurance experience may substitute.
- Two years property and casualty insurance experience preferred.
- Strong critical thinking and communication skills required.
