Responsibilities:
- Administration of SQL Server databases, focusing on OLTP and OLAP for process automation and large-scale data collection.
- Monitoring, performance tuning, optimization, and implementation of partitioning, SSIS, and SSRS to ensure system reliability.
- Development of scripts and tools using PowerShell, Python, and/or C# to support data analysis and continuous improvement initiatives.
Qualifications:
- Minimum 4 years of experience in SQL Server Database Administration with strong command of T-SQL and performance tuning best practices.
- Proficiency in PowerShell and/or Python for automation, with knowledge of C# preferred, and experience with version control systems like GIT.
- Experience with Windows Server, HP OpenView, Flyway DB Migrations, and Microsoft SQL Server, along with preferred knowledge of Azure.
Soft Skills:
- High level of autonomy, accountability, and strong analytical skills with a problem-solving mindset for effective collaboration and communication.
- Good organizational skills, attention to detail, and a proactive attitude towards process improvement and optimization in a technological environment.
