Staff AI Engineer

ABOUT STREAM:

• We build SDKs and APIs that power real-time communication for over a billion users.

ROLE OVERVIEW:

• We're seeking a Staff AI Engineer to own model development end-to-end.
• You'll work on dataset design, fine-tuning, evaluation, and production deployment.
• Location: Amsterdam or remote across Europe.

WHAT WILL YOU WORK ON:

• Own the entire lifecycle of AI models from research to shipping.
• Establish benchmarks and evaluation harnesses to ensure model quality.
• Build and maintain data pipelines for training and evaluation.

ABOUT YOU:

• 5+ years of production-level Python engineering experience.
• Hands-on experience with supervised fine-tuning and post-training of models.
• Familiarity with modern fine-tuning and serving toolchains like Unsloth, Fireworks, or Baseten.
