Position Summary:

  • Cooperate closely with Japan Field Medical team and global Medical/Clinical Development organizations.
  • Develop local Medical Strategy and support clinical trial operations from a medical perspective.
  • Provide scientific credibility for interactions with thought leaders and centers of excellence.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute Japan Medical Plan and territory plans aligned with global medical strategy.
  • Collaborate with local Field Medical team for KOL engagement and speaker development.
  • Support Clinical Operations to enhance patient enrollment and interact with investigators.

Requirements:

  • Advanced clinical degree in Japan (MD/PhD) and 5+ years in paediatrics, metabolic diseases, or neurology.
  • Rare disease and biomedical research experience preferred; business-level English and native Japanese required.
  • Excellent teamwork, communication, and presentation skills; ability to manage territory and travel (~25%).
