Senior Healthcare Fraud Investigator

About the Role:

• This is a remote advisory and analytical position supporting the Department of Veterans Affairs Fraud Rapid Response Center.
• You will lead fraud case development, turning analytic leads into weekly, decision-ready referral packages while all final decisions stay with Government personnel.

Key Responsibilities:

• Review and validate anomalies from analytics platforms like Palantir, and develop cases for potential fraud, waste, and abuse.
• Prepare claim review workpapers, referral packages, and case workflows from intake to closure.
• Contribute to SOPs, tracking registers, and subject-matter input on fraud schemes and risk-scoring.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree and 8+ years of federal healthcare program integrity and fraud investigations experience.
• Working knowledge of the False Claims Act, Anti-Kickback Statute, Stark Law, and related authorities.
• Strong written and verbal communication for executive-level audiences, and ability to pass a Tier 2 background investigation.

Work Environment:

• Fully remote role with a preference for candidates local to Washington, DC.
• You will collaborate closely with federal investigators and stakeholders while supporting training and knowledge transfer.
