Network Engineer

About the Opportunity:

• Provide implementation and operational support for secure network infrastructure at a federal agency client.
• Work within a Cisco-based enterprise environment supporting configuration, hardening, and continuous monitoring.
• Align network infrastructure with Zero Trust principles and federal cybersecurity standards.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Support implementation, operation, and optimization of Cisco-based network infrastructure.
• Configure and manage routing, switching, network services, and 802.1X access control.
• Conduct continuous monitoring, vulnerability assessments, and support incident response activities.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field; relevant certifications may be considered.
• 3+ years of enterprise network engineering experience with Cisco platforms.
• Proficiency with NIST SP 800-53 and 800-207, and certifications like CCNP or CompTIA Security+.
