Job Summary:
- Reports to Amtrak ADA Program’s Director of Procurement & Logistics.
- Responsible for major engineering or construction procurements and subcontract processes and procedures ranging in dollar value from $500K to $250M+.
- Oversee all activities throughout the contract lifecycle.
Responsibilities:
- Pre-award activities & post award administration, including chairing pre-proposal and pre-construction meetings, risk analysis, negotiating terms.
- Interface to business units and management as a recognized source of expertise for the sourcing function and leading and managing procurement projects assigned.
- Prepare and administer contracts that are financially and legally sound.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor of Science in Business Administration or related field + 8 years or relevant experience.
- Direct experience in construction procurement; prefer extensive in related procurement field or related construction experience.
- Extensive project management and process improvement leadership experience.
