Machine Learning Manager, Notifications Relevance

Role Overview:

• Lead the notifications relevance team to shape the future of notifications at Reddit, driving DAU growth and long-term user retention.
• Participate in the full development cycle, including design, development, QA, experimentation, analysis, and deployment of ML systems.

Requirements:

• 2+ years of experience building and managing engineering teams, and 5+ years as an ML or Software Engineer on large-scale systems.
• Deep understanding of building and deploying large-scale recommender systems in production and experience with deep learning and distributed tools.
• Entrepreneurial and self-directed, able to tackle ambiguous problems and communicate complex topics to various audiences.

Compensation and Support:

• Base salary range is $230,000 - $322,000 USD, with eligibility for equity and potential commission depending on the position.
