Applies coding principles consistent with government regulatory standards.
Reviews all ICD, E&M, CPT and HCPCS codes to ensure documentation supports all services rendered.
Queries providers, as needed, when encounters lack clear documentation.

Requirements:

One (1) year or less of professional fee coding experience.
High school diploma or equivalent.
CPC, CPC-A or CCS-P Certification

Pluses:

GECB/IDX and Cerner experience preferred.
