Staff Software Development Engineer

Role:

• Staff Software Development Engineer on the Zscaler Client Connector team, reporting to the Director of Software Development Engineering in the Zero Trust Exchange department.
• Work on a product that protects corporate devices by securely sending traffic to Zscaler's global network for advanced web filtering and Zero Trust policies.

What You'll Do:

• Design and implement high-performance, low-complexity networking code using Rust and platform-native languages & APIs.
• Build solid, testable, well-documented foundations across multiple desktop platforms.
• Debug complex network-related problems and collaborate closely with product managers and cross-functional teams.

• Demonstrated curiosity in AI tools and ability to integrate new technologies to enhance workflows.
