Business Intelligence Analyst - Department of Medicine (System Applications Analyst, Sr.)

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and test BI solutions using Business Objects, Epic, Azure, and Power BI, ensuring they meet business requirements and performance standards.
• Troubleshoot data issues, recommend model improvements, and coordinate migrations through the SDLC while validating solutions with customers for sign-off.

Business Analysis and Project Management:

• Facilitate requirements sessions with end users and leadership, profiling source data and designing solutions that align with department policies and Epic foundations.
• Lead cross-department projects as a BI expert, creating project plans, documentation, and providing mentorship on tools and development processes.

Production Support and Continuous Improvement:

• Respond to customer requests for fixes or enhancements, performing data analysis and coordinating solutions with IT groups to validate and close tickets.
• Log and propose improvement opportunities to leadership, working to refine existing processes and daily workflows within the organization.
