Data Scientist - WHSC, Cardiac Arrest Registry to Enhance Survival (CARES)

Responsibilities:

• Partner with clinical, operational, and technical stakeholders to translate data into actionable insights and build scalable systems.
• Modernize workflows using cloud-based and AI-enabled tools to improve operational efficiencies and solve clinical problems.
• Actively direct and participate in training and data adoption activities to support the CARES program's mission.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Hold a Master's degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, or another quantitative field.
• Possess 3 years of relevant experience in data science or a related area.
• Demonstrate advanced proficiency in Python and SQL for data analysis and system development.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Have experience building production-grade data systems and integrating multiple data sources and APIs.
• Be familiar with healthcare, EMS, or public health data and AWS or other cloud platforms.
• Show experience with AI/ML, including NLP or applied AI workflows, and data visualization tools like Tableau.
