Senior Accountant, Financial Reporting

Reporting to the Senior Manager, Financial Reporting, the Senior Accountant, Financial Reporting role is a newly created position that will help maintain the integrity and accuracy of our SEC filings, assist with SOX compliance activities, and participate in financial closing procedures. This role will also serve as a point of contact for the audit firms and will help support the financial statement and internal control audits. Nuvalent seeks a motivated, detail-oriented individual who wants to learn and help build scalable solutions for a growing publicly held company. Responsibilities include assisting with the external reporting process, collaborating on the preparation of the quarterly external reporting calendar, preparing supporting schedules for SEC filings, collaborating cross-functionally to compile information, assisting with SOX compliance coordination, participating in monthly and quarterly general ledger close, and participating in ad-hoc projects.
