Pipeline Medical Science Liaison

Primary Function:

• Ensure a strong medical and scientific presence for AbbVie at investigational sites and key scientific centers.
• Facilitate clinical research and interventional phase 1-3 trials with AbbVie drugs.
• Support requests for medical and scientific information on products or therapeutic areas.

Responsibilities:

• Establish and maintain close working relationships with clinical site monitoring staff to facilitate clinical trials.
• Provide scientific and technical leadership to ensure professional and credible relationships with investigators.
• Deliver credible presentations on scientific matters related to AbbVie's pipeline.

Qualifications:

• Advanced degree (PharmD, MD, PhD) in a relevant scientific discipline strongly preferred.
• At least two years of professional experience as an MSL or CRA or in a similar field-based R&D role.
• Solid knowledge of the pharmaceutical environment and the role of Medical Affairs.
