Health Insurance Strategy & Self-Funding Transition:
- Lead the transition from fully insured to self-funded health insurance.
- Partner with consultants to evaluate stop-loss insurance and plan design options.
- Design cost-effective health plan options.
Benefits Budget & Financial Oversight:
- Own the US benefits budget and forecast costs.
- Identify cost reduction opportunities.
- Monitor claims trends and renewal pricing.
Vendor & Partner Management:
- Serve as the primary relationship owner for US benefits partners.
- Lead RFP processes and negotiate contract terms.
- Build collaborative relationships with providers.
Compliance & Governance:
- Ensure US benefit programs comply with regulations.
- Maintain plan documents and required government filings.
- Partner with Legal on compliance matters.
