Job Description
CommonLit’s engineering team works in a collaborative, high-trust environment where we ship great software to power CommonLit's curriculum and to assist teachers in fostering and assessing their students' growth. The Junior Software Engineer contributes to projects with their own code and thinking, reviews the work of their teammates, and advances CommonLit's mission. Responsibilities include writing high-quality Ruby and React code and tests for CommonLit's Ruby on Rails application, reviewing teammates' work, and deploying and operating the Rails application in production.
