Responsible for the profitability, growth and retention of assigned book of business and assigned renewal underwriters.
Evaluate and process insurance renewals, demonstrate functional technical knowledge of underwriting concepts, practices, procedures and techniques to include coverage issues, product lines, relevant systems and competition in the marketplace.
Manage relationship with assigned producers to manage submission, quote and bind activity.

Qualifications:

Minimum of 3 years of multi-line underwriting and marketing experience required.
Knowledge of insurance rating, structure, forms, and coverages is needed.
Strong interpersonal, presentation and negotiation skills to include the ability to affirmatively close sales.

Additional responsibilities:

Underwrite and skillfully negotiate accounts to minimize risk and maximize profitability.
Generate quote proposals and deliver to producers and negotiate final terms leading to binding.
Ensure timely processing of renewal policies.
