Deals Associate

What You'll Do:

• Review fund deals and prepare structured feedback on memos — reinforcing the memo as an internal tool for building investment conviction.
• Assist with deal intake, pipeline tracking, and due diligence workflows across sourcing, filtering, diligence, execution, and portfolio follow-up.
• Prepare summaries and notes on deal documents such as SAFEs, convertible instruments, priced rounds, and side letters.

Deal Sharing and Scouting:

• Support programs that share deals across Decile platform managers and bring in opportunities from outside sources.
• Help route each opportunity to the right funds by thesis, stage, and geography, supporting channels for co-investment and referral.
• Support programs to engage deal scouts, matching opportunities to each fund's investment thesis.

What You Have:

• 1-3 years of professional experience in VC, startups, operations, consulting, or any role involving complicated investment opportunities.
• A genuine understanding of the startup and venture investing ecosystem.
• Comfort with CRM tools and data management, and fluency with modern AI frameworks and tools.
• Excellent written communication, attention to detail, and a fast-moving, follow-up-oriented work style.
