Remote Pharmacist

Job Overview:

• Reports to the Pharmacist-in-Charge, providing remote pharmacy services under a Pharmacy Supervisor.
• Ensures compliance with flexible work arrangements and protects confidential information.

Key Responsibilities:

• Receives and reviews medication orders remotely, initiating interventions for safe and effective therapy.
• Documents and reports clinical interventions, errors, and adverse events per protocols.
• Oversees pharmacy technicians and participates in quality improvement initiatives.

Qualifications:

• Requires a Bachelor's or Doctor of Pharmacy degree, with licensure in Rhode Island and Massachusetts.
• Must have PGY-1 residency or 3 years clinical experience, plus board certification within 18 months.
• Effective communication and organizational skills, with experience in pharmacy information systems.
