Job Description

Patient Communication & Phone Triage:

  • Answer and manage high-volume patient calls throughout the day.
  • Assist with basic triage coordination and respond to patient inquiries.
  • Maintain a warm, professional tone with parents and caregivers.

Scheduling & Coordination:

  • Schedule, reschedule, cancel, and confirm appointments as needed.
  • Coordinate follow-up appointments without requiring provider intervention.
  • Use basic Spanish when needed to assist Spanish-speaking families.

Insurance, Referrals & Prior Authorizations:

  • Perform insurance eligibility verification and submit/track prior authorizations.
  • Communicate with insurance companies regarding coverage and status.
  • Process and track referrals to specialists or external providers.
