Job Description
Patient Communication & Phone Triage:
- Answer and manage high-volume patient calls throughout the day.
- Assist with basic triage coordination and respond to patient inquiries.
- Maintain a warm, professional tone with parents and caregivers.
Scheduling & Coordination:
- Schedule, reschedule, cancel, and confirm appointments as needed.
- Coordinate follow-up appointments without requiring provider intervention.
- Use basic Spanish when needed to assist Spanish-speaking families.
Insurance, Referrals & Prior Authorizations:
- Perform insurance eligibility verification and submit/track prior authorizations.
- Communicate with insurance companies regarding coverage and status.
- Process and track referrals to specialists or external providers.
