Primary Purpose:
- Analyze and adjudicate Workers Compensation Lost-Time claims to determine benefits due.
- Ensure ongoing adjudication within service expectations and client requirements.
- Embody Sedgwick's caring counts model and core values.
Essential Responsibilities:
- Process claims through well-developed action plans to timely resolution.
- Investigate and gather information to determine claim exposure.
- Negotiate settlements within designated authority and report to excess carrier.
Qualifications:
- Less than 1 year claims management experience or equivalent combination required.
- High School Diploma or GED required; Bachelor's degree preferred.
- Professional certification as applicable to line of business preferred.
