Primary Purpose:

  • Analyze and adjudicate Workers Compensation Lost-Time claims to determine benefits due.
  • Ensure ongoing adjudication within service expectations and client requirements.
  • Embody Sedgwick's caring counts model and core values.

Essential Responsibilities:

  • Process claims through well-developed action plans to timely resolution.
  • Investigate and gather information to determine claim exposure.
  • Negotiate settlements within designated authority and report to excess carrier.

Qualifications:

  • Less than 1 year claims management experience or equivalent combination required.
  • High School Diploma or GED required; Bachelor's degree preferred.
  • Professional certification as applicable to line of business preferred.
