Data Governance Specialist

About the role:

• Shape how Redcare Pharmacy governs data throughout its lifecycle, making it easier to discover, understand, and use responsibly.
• Manage the data catalog and service desk, helping teams navigate governance requirements and adopt practical solutions.

About your tasks:

• Implement governance controls and enrich the data catalog with data classification, quality, access, and lineage.
• Identify automation opportunities and optimize governance processes with Python and SQL.
• Partner with data and AI engineers and business stakeholders to make governance part of daily workflows.

About you:

• Bring 3+ years of experience managing data catalogs with tools like Purview, Databricks, or Collibra.
• Have a solid understanding of data governance principles, regulations, and standards.
• Feel confident working in a distributed team and enjoy balancing independence with collaboration.
