Responsibilities:
- Analyze requirements and propose innovative AI-native solutions.
- Write clean scalable code and own the voice and data stack end-to-end.
- Optimize realtime system performance, latency, and cost.
- Mentor team members and collaborate with product and subject matter experts.
Qualifications:
- Senior-level backend experience (5+ years) shipping production systems.
- Hands-on experience with realtime voice/streaming systems such as Twilio or WebRTC.
- Data engineering fundamentals: event pipelines, data modeling, warehousing.
- Proficiency in a typed backend language (TypeScript preferred) and LLM-powered features.
Nice to Have:
- Experience with voice-AI platforms like Vapi or Deepgram.
- Experience scaling cloud infrastructure (AWS) and workflow automation tools.
- Experience with React or HVAC back-office workflows.
