Job Description
The Informatics Applications Analyst, Inpatient, serves as the technical and clinical Health Informatics subject matter expert for the clinical applications. The Applications Analyst supports the mission, vision, and strategic priorities of Children's Mercy and Information Technology. The Applications Analyst manages projects and programs in the area they are assigned and assists with more complex projects. They maintain and provide technical support for assigned clinical applications. The analyst is a liaison to the physician and nursing care delivery teams and develops, implements, and effectively uses clinical technologies to enhance patient care. They collaborate to positively impact patient safety and care quality.
This role will work with the Inpatient Team at Children's Mercy in KCMO and the incumbent must live within driving distance of the hospital and will need prior experience within Cerner, Epic, or both. Revenue or billing experience applicable and the incumbent must be certified in Epic ClinDoc, or Orders, within 120 days of hire.
