Engineering Manager (BE) - Content Enrichment

As Canva scales change continues to be part of our DNA. As the Engineering Team Lead for Content Enrichment, you'll coach a team of talented and high performing bunch of backend engineers and machine learning engineers working across search enrichment pipelines, metadata automation, and scalable microservices. You'll define the team’s vision and guide strategic delivery aligned with Canva's goals. You’ll collaborate closely with content experts, product managers, and machine learning teams to create infrastructure that makes billions of assets more discoverable and usable every day. This role will see you lead and support backend and machine learning engineers driving our content enrichment platforms. Shape the team’s vision, strategy, and technical architecture to scale with Canva’s content growth. Coach and mentor engineers to do the best work of their lives. Collaborate across content and product teams to deliver impactful, user-facing solutions. Embed a culture of operational excellence and continuous technical innovation. Represent your team across supergroup forums and strategic initiatives.
