Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute a targeted new business strategy across the Iberian market, focusing on carriers, alt-nets, cloud providers, content platforms, and neoscale operators.
  • Sell Zayo infrastructure both within Iberia and outbound to our European backbone — positioning wavelengths, IP transit, Ethernet PTP, dark fiber, and DDoS mitigation against the right opportunity.
  • Identify, prospect, and engage high-value accounts leveraging your regional network, ecosystems, and event presence to build pipeline.

Qualifications:

  • Proven track record in new business sales within carrier, cloud, content, or infrastructure segments, with a strong existing network across Iberia.
  • Hands-on knowledge of optical transport, IP transit, Ethernet services, and/or dark fiber — able to hold credible technical conversations with network engineers and architects.
  • Deep familiarity with the Iberian telco and internet infrastructure landscape — ISPs, MNOs, alt-nets, CDNs, hyperscalers, OTT platforms, and GPU/neoscale operators active in Spain and Portugal.

Candidate Profile:

  • Self-starter mentality, comfortable operating autonomously, building territory from scratch, and thriving in a fast-moving, growth-oriented environment.
  • Fluent in Spanish and/or Portuguese, with business-level English, based in Spain or Portugal, and willing to travel regularly across the region.
