Job Description

Under general supervision and according to established policies & procedures, the incumbent is responsible for accurately and efficiently answering and scheduling patient appointments. Requires a high-level problem solving and analytical skills with the highest ethical standards. The incumbent must be self-directed and self-motivated and able to multi-task in a dynamic, fast-paced environment with a high level of productivity and accuracy. Job Duties & Essential Functions: Review various EMRs to review notes, insurance and form folders to assist in resolving patient inquiries. Conduct insurance verification. Handle high volume of patient telephone calls. Provide customer service to patients. Demonstrate courteous and professional behavior when dealing with patients. Document and take appropriate action for all telephone calls in billing system. Resolve patient inquiries or escalate for solution. Perform all other duties as assigned by management.
