Head of Compliance - MiCA Amsterdam

Assume primary responsibility for ensuring compliance with MiCA, MiFID and applicable state rules/ regulations in Europe. The goal is to design, implement and maintain the compliance program in Amsterdam and work with the global compliance team. The successful candidate will develop Wintermute’s global regulatory position in relation to the EU and UK financial markets regulations. Key responsibilities include leading and advising the business on financial markets regulations, establishing standards and procedures for the Europe compliance program, overseeing trade related compliance activities, and managing the EU firm’s AML compliance program. The candidate will also assist with compliance materials, review marketing materials, support compliance projects, investigate transaction monitoring alerts and coordinate responses to regulatory inquiries.
