Role Overview:

  • The Instructional Design Specialist will create engaging learning resources and multimedia products focused on workforce development and career advancement.
  • This role supports internal and client-facing projects within the Employment and Economic Opportunity Program Area.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and curate learning assets such as instructional videos, job aids, playbooks, and digital modules using tools like Articulate 360, Canva, and Adobe Creative Suite.
  • Maintain and enhance existing materials, apply AI-enabled solutions, and collaborate with subject matter experts to refine learning experiences.
  • Define measures of learning success, gather feedback, and use evaluation findings to continuously improve products.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in instructional design, learning technologies, education, or a related field; Master's preferred.
  • 2+ years of experience developing digital learning resources and multimedia assets for adult learners.
  • Proficiency in learning technologies and design tools, including Articulate Storyline, Rise, Canva, and Synthesia.

Skills and Competencies:

  • Strong understanding of instructional design principles and adult learning theory.
  • Ability to create multimedia assets and apply accessibility standards.
  • Excellent project coordination, collaboration, and communication skills.
