Job Description
The Payroll Specialist role requires 5+ years of experience with multi-state payroll and excellent working knowledge of ADP Workforce Now, ADP iReports, ADP Smart Compliance and ADP Essential Time & Attendance. The candidate needs excellent computer skills (MS Office, primarily Excel) and familiarity with payroll taxes, benefits, wage & hour laws. Experience with traditional and Roth 401(k) plans is a plus, alongside strong verbal and written communication skills. The candidate must be able to establish and meet deadlines, has strong attention to detail and the ability to multitask, good analytical skills and problem-solving ability, high level of critical thinking skills plus the ability to work independently. Knowledge of multiple pay types is a plus (i.e. W2, 1099 and Schedule K-1).
