As a team member on the market-leading publisher in Advanced Placement education under the BFW Publishers imprint, the High School Program Manager for AP® Social Studies is responsible for the overall health and financial performance of their respective discipline portfolio, including cultivating market relationships and knowledge. Responsibilities also include: evaluating and editing content; directing authors in project planning; creating forward- looking revision plans that address teacher, student, and administrator needs in both print and digital environments; recruiting, hiring, and managing authors, contributors, and freelancers to implement development plans; strategic, long-term planning; list management with a focus on program cycling; acquisition of selected new programs; budgeting; forecasting, profitability; relationship building with internal colleagues; and advocating for their programs with marketing and sales.
