QA Engineer — Shopify Platform (Weekday Rotation)

Role Objective:

• IncubatorLab AI is looking for a detail-oriented QA Engineer to join our dedicated Shopify platform team.
• The role involves building out a 24/7 QA function to ensure storefront, checkout, and subscription experiences are monitored and issue-free.

What You'll Do:

• Monitor live Shopify storefront for bugs, broken functionality, and visual regressions.
• Validate new deploys, run smoke tests, and perform end-to-end regression tests across desktop and mobile.
• Document bugs in ClickUp and GitHub, communicate with developers, and manage shift handoffs.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

• 5+ years of QA experience, ideally in a fast-paced agency or DTC e-commerce brand.
• Strong knowledge of Shopify backend, Liquid, and GitHub; proficiency in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
• Experience with structured manual test case writing, bug triage, and cross-browser testing.

Working Hours & Culture:

• Full-time contract role with a 30-day trial period; shifts are Monday–Friday EST evenings or nights.
• Independent work with minimal supervision; issues escalated directly to on-call developer.
