Engineering Manager

Covering for maternity leave, you will report to the CTO and support five engineers across two teams focused on user climate impact and the Ecosia user journey. As their people manager, you will enable your engineers to grow professionally, deliver great impact, and be empowered to manage their own tasks effectively by removing roadblocks and facilitating team decisions. You will assist your team in maintaining operational excellence, supporting their technical decisions, and managing internal and external stakeholder expectations. You will enrich Ecosia's equitable, inclusive, curious, and fun Engineering culture with your Product and Engineering management peers. You'll ensure the seamless execution and timely delivery of projects and experiments; hold regular 1:1s, feedback, and growth conversations; and inspire an atmosphere of continuous improvement.
