We're looking for a great Engineering Team Lead with strong people leadership, delivery and operations experience as well as a technical software engineering background to join us. You'll lead a pod of engineers who own a number of platform products, creating and maintaining platforms that can scale and support Xero's continuing growth. You'll be responsible for supporting your direct reports, empowering them to deliver high-quality software and fostering the growth of a world-class engineering culture.
Covering for maternity leave, you will report to the CTO and support five engineers across two teams focused on user climate impact and the Ecosia user journey. As their people manager, you will enable your engineers to grow professionally, deliver great impact, and be empowered to manage their own tasks effectively by removing roadblocks and facilitating team decisions.
