Senior Developer Experience Engineer

The Senior Developer Experience Engineer is a role within our newly formed Onboarding and Migration team within Engineering. In this role you will play a key part in improving how we get developers from downloading our local install to the first “aha!” moment and discovering production use cases. In the new team and in this role specifically, you have the opportunity to have an outsized impact on Camunda’s adoption in the industry. Driving this strategic, critical initiative, you are directly supported by our founders and the executive team. This role will be laser-focused on the Java/Spring developer persona. As a Java developer yourself, you can internally advocate for a well-crafted experience and externally author guides that seamlessly meet the expectations of Java developers. You will structure, develop, and maintain onboarding and technical guides and respective example GitHub projects that delight developers. You’ll be given room to push for change in how we prepare and present technical guides. You will also work cross-functionally with Design, Product Management, other Engineering teams, and occasionally GTM and our Developer Advocates.
