Position Overview:
- Lead interconnection planning and economic studies for utility-scale solar PV and energy storage projects.
- Supervise analysis of high voltage transmission systems and manage interconnection processes with utilities and ISOs.
Responsibilities:
- Perform powerflow studies using PowerGem TARA and Siemens PSS/E software.
- Negotiate Generator Interconnection Agreements and monitor milestone compliance.
- Provide mentorship to junior engineers and perform due diligence for M&A projects.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering; Master's or MBA preferred.
- 10+ years of transmission and interconnection planning experience on renewable projects.
- Proficiency in GE PSLF, Siemens PSS/E, PROMOD, and AutoCAD.
