Senior Transmission Planning Manager -- S&L Consulting

Responsibilities:

• Manage different consulting engagements related to power system studies for transmission interconnection projects.
• Provide guidance and oversight to junior engineers performing power system modeling and analysis.
• Participate in business development including identification of new work, preparation of proposals, and input on project scope, approach, schedule, and budget.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering and a minimum of 15 years relevant engineering experience with at least 7 years in leading a team of power systems engineers.
• Experience in load flow and contingency analysis to identify transmission thermal and voltage constraints and transfer capability limits.
• Proficiency in transmission planning software such as PSS/E, PSLF, and TARA.
