Finance Automation Intern

Build accurate, timely, and scalable finance and accounting operations that power n8n’s hyper-growth while strengthening financial compliance and decision-making. To do so, responsibilities include analyzing and prioritizing finance processes across accounting, receivables, payables, reporting, and financial operations for automation potential. Collaborate with Finance and Operations stakeholders to gather requirements and design automation solutions and build, test, and maintain automations using n8n, ensuring reliability and scalability. Monitor automation performance, troubleshoot issues, and continuously improve efficiency. Experiment with new automation tools, AI capabilities, and best practices to keep n8n’s finance stack cutting-edge. Support day-to-day operations such as supplier onboarding, invoice processing, and documentation management and contribute to monthly reporting by supporting reconciliations, preparing analyses, and assisting with ad-hoc projects. This internship offers hands-on experience building a scalable, tech-forward finance function during hyper-growth phase. From day one, the intern will have ownership over impactful projects, learn how to apply automation in real-world finance, and set the stage for future career.
